Sepia is the new Orange

Autumn, a gorgeous time of year for vibrant orange leaves and frost covered flowers. Alas, these types of images are all too prevalent. So, in attempt to still exude the warmth and crispness that autumn inspires, I decided to take a classic park/leaves shot but not, as usual, present the orange and brown hues that these shots normally do, but turn it sepia instead. It keeps the warmth I think, and still conveys the unmistakable essence of autumn!

  1. In spite of my little tirade against autumnal photography, this is lovely. I think the choice of sepia tone certainly sets it apart from the usual shots that are so ubiquitous at this time of the year.
